This workshop looks at various aspects of homelife for the people of Britain during the Second World War and explores themes such as rationing, evacuation, propaganda posters and the role of women. Pupils are also taken to the Second World War gallery where, in a mock air raid shelter, they will experience an air raid drill and have the opportunity to handle artefacts from the period.
